This list is specifically for families and adult/kid activities. There are plenty that cost next to nothing and some that cost a few bucks. To really maximize your fun - try to do multiple fun activities in a single setting. There are no rules if your activity is boring or not achieving your desires for fun move on and try a new activity. Try to pick activities that all your participants can enjoy.

Go for a walk or hike

Urban Exploration - explore your own area by foot
Swim In a lake, ocean or river
Badminton all you need is a couple of rackets and a birdee
Swim in a Pool

Go Water-skiing
Go to a Waterslide - you can burn an amazing amount of calories going up those stiars all day
Kick a soccer ball around

Walk the Dog - or somebodies dog
Jump Rope - try and jump two people at the same time
Go to a Playground and try all of the equipment
Set up an obstacle course in the backyard
Have a mini boot camp with stretching and other simple exercises - dress up in army gear
