Afternoon Tea Party
Well they probably won’t like tea but you can give them the fancy part of a tea party. Serve whatever food you have with fancy dishes and nice tablecloths. Dress up like servants that “serve” the kids - you know pretend that oyu are a maid or butler.
Backyard Party
There is a ton of things you can do for a backyard party. Just be organized for any kind of weather - you know have a backup plan and you should be fine.
Beach Party in The Backyard
Dress in shorts and flip flops – play beach music. Have beach balls Frisbees and coconut tanning oil. Have a clambake or a fish fry.
Costume Party
Have a Costume Party - Superheroes, WWF, Hello Kitty, Hollywood Look Alike, Cowboys and Cowgirls. whatever you do remeber that some kids or some parents will forget the “theme” make sure you have hats or props that will allow everyone to be involved no matter whether they show up prepared or not.
Round the World Party
Cook up a buffet that has differnt dishes from different countries. Definitely an opportunity for you to get a map and some interesting facts or questions so they can learn and eat and have fun all at the same time.
Dress like your Favorite Animal Party
This one is pretty self explanatory.
Kiddy Pools
Get as many kiddy pools as possible. Set up little signs for each pool like it is a fancy hotel with multiple pools for the guests. Add a slip and slide and some water balloons and you are set.

Pirate Party
Serve chicken and play rock music. Everyone should be able to speak pirate.
Pizza Party
Add a sporting activity like touch football or a baseball game before the pizza and it will be a home run.
Pool Party
If you have one great Party on - you probably have been doing that for years. If you don’t you can beg a friend who does have one to let you use it for the day.

Set up a Christmas tree - have presents and maybe you can even have a summer snowball fight.
