Themes

Olympics Party
Set up a series of events or obstacles courses. Only limited by your ability and imagination. Take it the extra step and arrange some medals for the awards ceremony. Winter, Summer or Indoors if you have the room.

Afternoon Tea Party

Backyard Party

Beach Party
Dress in shorts and flip flops – play beach music. Have beach balls Frisbees and coconut tanning oil. Have a clambake or a fish fry. If you don’t have a beach - try it at home.

Have a Costume Party
Superhero, Ninjas, spiderman or any other fad that happens to be “in” at the time.

Animal Party
Dress like your Favorite Animal Party

Kiddy Pools
Get as many kiddy pools as possible. Include Slip & Slide, water guns and a water balloon fight.

Pajama Party

Pirate Party
Bring extra hats an eye patches for everyone. Serve finger food and speak pirate.

Pizza
Order a bunch of pizza... But if you can add a sporting activity like a baseball game before the pizza it could be a home run.

Pool
If you have one great Party on - you probably have been doing that for years. If you don’t you can beg a friend who does have one to let you use it for the day. Or go to the public pool.

Picnic Party
Pick a really beautiful location with lots of space to play some games.

Dance to Some Music - Get everybody involved
Bounce on the Trampoline
Have a Wheelbarrow Race
Have a Bonfire and Roast Marshmallows
Play Kick the Can - There is a can set up in an open central area. One person is "It" and all the other players go hide. The "It" person goes and looks for them and when he sees one they run back to the can. Whoever kicks the can first is not "It" and the person who didn't is.

Helium Balloons - let them float to see the ceiling and try to pop it
Hula - Hooping Contest
Summer Snowball Fight - If there is an indoor ice rink nearby you can get as much snow as you can handle. Usually somewhere by the back door there is a giant pile of snow. Take a cooler and fill it up. The hotter the day the more confused your targets will be when they figure out what just hit them.
